What to expect by season
If you've never dived before, timing matters more than you'd think. Calm, clear water makes that first descent feel easy — and that mostly happens in the Oct – May window, when visibility runs around 10 – 25m and the sea is warm at roughly 26 – 30°C.
Monsoon (Jun–Sep) shuts most coastal diving on the west coast.
